The sewer is chose as a location for the sound work. The work expresses the quietness in a chaotic background and further develops with different sounds added. People walk pass the sewer everyday and the work is to explore what is under the sewer. The sound from a washing machine is used in the work. It is because the sounds is similar to a sewer when water is pouring in and mixing with garbage. The dripping and windy sounds help to create a constrained and wet space. The multi-layers of sounds create a mysterious feeling for the location.

Quarantine, audio, 3 min, 2020
The work explores how a cat experiences quarantine, and the connections between mechanistic/linear time and non-human biological time. The track suddenly stops at the end to leave an imagination for the listeners. The purring combines with the scratching sound and his meow sound create anxiety and immersive for the listeners, which make them want to get out of the “room” too. I add the taking sound to signify time, and the pitch is different in different stage. When the cat feel’s good the timing sound is normal and it becomes weaker and slower to indicate his helpless.
